Guitar students on their way into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! |
The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

Guitar Students Visit Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
Our guitar students traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to visit and tour the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. While it was a long trip, it was entirely we worth it. The students were able to see some Rock & Roll artifacts from their favorite bands, all while learning about the history of guitar, Rock & Roll as a genre, and what it takes to for a band or artist to get in. They've also formed a band, Hamsteak. With any luck, they'll be inducted one day!
