S.T.A.R.S. Program - "Bully Free Starts With ME!!" Posters

Part of the Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant's mission is to implement some sort of Bullying Prevention program.  I'm proud to say that the Hornell City School District is one of the few grantees that has implemented such a program grades K-12.  Furthermore, we've adopted one of the best programs available: the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.

Every month, students K-12 have Olweus meetings, where they discuss their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with bullying and explore ways to end it.  Today was one of those meetings, and to supplement their daily lesson, S.T.A.R.S. program students made "Bully Free Starts With ME!!" posters, which they'll hang throughout the school.

Bullying is a huge problem for students, and with the implementation of the Olweus Program, we're hoping to end it.
