On Saturday, April 5th, our guitar students met at the
Hornell Area Humane Society to donate 5 hours of their time (5 students at 5 hours each - that's 25 hours total!). From 8 am to 1 pm the students worked diligently to help get some work done. From cleaning cages to walking dogs and socializing cats, they put in some hard work, and they had a great time doing it. As a reward, they'll be traveling to Cleveland, OH to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame later this year!
A special thanks goes out to Josh Farnham and his team at the
Hornell Area Humane Society. They work hard to care for animals in the area that don't have anyone else, and what's more, they don't practice euthanasia, so rest assured the animals held there are safe.
If you've been thinking about getting a dog or a cat, please make the
Hornell Area Humane Society the first place you look! If you'd like to volunteer, they can always use the help! Give them a ring at (607) 324-1270!
