STARS Program - Olympics

Being that the Winter Olympics are about to start, the Bryant School STARS Program has been focusing on learning all about the Olympics.  They began by selecting participating countries and researching them.  For art, the students drew their countries' flag.  Those were then displayed in the school's cafeteria as part of a broad Olympic push at the school.  Since making the flags, students have been working on Olympics related crafts in art classes, learning about Olympic events in PE, and exploring Olympic culture and history in the enrichment portion of the program.

The Olympics begin tonight, and while we'll all be cheering for team USA, the students are excited to see how their countries fare!

Students work on their skier crafts!

The final product!

  1. The students enjoyed creating these skiers using patterns, paper plates, construction paper, and markers. Art is alive at STARS:)
