The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

S.T.A.R.S. Program - Job Club Teaches All About Careers in STEM!
On December 11th, Josiah Shope of ProAction gave our STARS students a very special presentation about jobs in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). STEM jobs are in high demand, and that probably won't be changing any time soon. Every day, STEM field continue to grow, so making sure our students are aware of the opportunities in these fields is very important.
