The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

Alfred University art professors to begin 6 week art program with Bryant School STARS students!
This Thursday, October 16th, Alfred University Profressors Brett Hunter and Andrew Oesch will begin a 6 week art program with the Bryant School STARS program 3rd graders. The program, which Professor Hunter and Professor Oesch designed specifically for Hornell's students, will angage students with several mediums of art while they learn about careers in the field. Bryant school hasn't had an art program for a few years, so this is an opportunity for our students to explore their creative side in a fun and educational way!
