Girls Group

Beginning on Monday, January 6th, our program will provide some of our Intermediate School Girls with the opportunity to participate in Girls Group.  The North Star Girls Group Program is a curriculum for adolescent girls designed to, "give girls a sense of competency and empowerment through education, support, and connecting with others."  Jennifer Smith, one of our district counselors, will lead the group.  Over the course of 20 weeks, this group will provide its members with the North Start curriculum, the opportunity to have discussions with successful local women, and will culminate with a family oriented dinner, where girls will be invited to bring along a woman whom is important in their lives.
