Pat helps Bryant's STARS students distribute their snacks before the final session comes to a close. |
The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

STARS Program - Cooking Matters For Kids - Final Class
The Cooking Matters for Kids program has drawn to a close, but not without a special session to show our appreciation to Pat Lamphier and the Cornell Cooperative Extension. After Pat taught the students their final lesson on nutrition, the students had a snack and presented Pat with a handmade card to say thank you for all of the hard work she's done. We're so grateful that she was able to join us, educate our students, and show them how important nutrition can be when trying to live a healthy, happy life.
