The teen book club has seen huge success, and it's popularity is growing at the school. Students recently held their final discussion in their first book, Laurie Halse Anderson's Forge. For some of our students, it was their first experience with historical fiction, and they seemed to love it. Anderson's a seasoned veteran of young adult fiction, so for the second book, librarian and teacher, Paula Elsloo, wanted students to get a feel for a younger, less experienced writer. To accomplish that task, she chose Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes, by Jonathan Auxier. This fantasy novel about thievery is sure to be a good read for our students!
