Knitting Ninjas, led by school librarian Paula Elsloo, starting their Scarf Projects! |
The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

Knitting Ninjas - First Project
For their first project, the Knitting Ninjas made all made 2 scarves each - one to keep and one to donate. For those who already knit and enjoy it, the project was a blast, and for those who are just starting, it was very rewarding to work through the learning process. As they continue to work on projects, they'll contiue to support out community through donating their time and the crafts they build!
