OLWEUS Bullying Prevention Kickoff Event a HUGE Success!

Hornell Schools Stomp Out Bullying

Owleus Bullying Prevention Coordinator and At-Risk Counsellor Molly Grefrath did an excellent job coordinating and executing this year's Olweus Kickoff Event.  In a partnership with Hornell Partners for Growth, the event was held at the Hornell Wegmans Plaza during Hornell's annual merchant trick or treat.  Meant to act as a guide for the trick or treaters and to raise awareness about bullying and the program our district has adopted, Olweus volunteers put down chalk footprints from one end of the plaza to the other while teachers and other Olweus volunteers handed out candy and informational packets about the program.

Thank you to all of the people and businesses involved in making this event so successful, and thank you to all of the kids and parents who came out!

What a turn out!

Thanks to all of our Olweus Volunteers!
