Students and faculty dressed appropriately for Tie Dye Day, reminding everyone how important it is to have a peaceful school and community! |
The Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant enables the Hornell City School District to provide programming meant to enrich the lives of its student population, both academically and socially, at no cost to students or their families. This blog will act as a forum for students, teachers and parents to discuss programming and the many ways we can work together to make it as beneficial as possible to Hornell's students.

Olweus - Bully Free Week
Last week, our district celebrated "Bully Free Week" with a different theme each day. Participation from students and faculty was excellent, and there's no doubt that the celebration raised awareness about bullying in our district and in our community. While bullying is still one of the greatest challenges facing schools today, its evident that students recognize the problem and are willing to unite against it!
