Guitar Students Form Band, Schedule Field Trips!

With the help of local music shop, Lion's Will, our Extended School Day Guitar Students have officially formed a band!  "Hamsteak," as they've named themselves, will begin practicing at Lion's Will in the very near future.  Store owner, Brian Tinker, has been kind enough to offer the students practice space and the use of equipment to which they otherwise wouldn't have access.  After a few practices, these young musicians will be ready to get out there and schedule a gig!

In addition to the exciting news about their band, the students will also be taking two very exciting field trips next month.  First, they'll take a ride up to Rochester's Guitar Center location and receive a private tour from store manager, Ryan G. They will then have the opportunity to play some of the finest guitars and amps on the market today!  Next, they'll be off to visit Cleveland, Ohio's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  One of the coolest places a music fan can visit, this trip is sure to offer the students insight into the history of Rock and Roll and guitar.  This is a rare opportunity, and the students are looking forward to making the trip.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.  Our students will be visiting soon!
