On Tuesday, 3/25, 2 members of the Elmira Jackals professional hockey team joined a member of the teams administrative staff to visit the Bryant School STARS program. They spent some time talking to students about how they became to be professional hockey players, what their day to day lives are like, how important it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and what their plans are after their hockey careers. They followed up their presentation with a Q&A, and an autograph signing. The Jackals brought materials for the players to sign, including photos and bios, and they were even kind enough to give each and every student a free ticket to the Jackals final game of the season!
Thanks so much to the Jackals for being so involved in the community. So many kids look up to professional athletes, and the Jackals showed us how community minded professional athletes can be!
